Typically, what is charged for a successful water damage repair on an iphone 5S? Answer:
After a device has been run through our cleaning process, the most common issue that we see with water damage is the device needing a new battery. The battery currently runs $59.99. Often times we see devices come back to life just needing a good cleaning. Each water damaged device is really a case by case basis. As always, if we can't fix it, there is no charge for the service. Let us know if you have any other questions, we'll be happy to help you out!

I accidentally had my phone in my pants and it went through the washer. The Iphone 5 had a lifeproof case on so it did keep most of the water out but some still got in it. I put the phone in rice but I think it was to late. I did turn the phone on, which I had no idea was the worst thing to do, and it turned on but the next day it does not turn on anymore. Is the phone permanently damaged or can you just change the battery. Thanks so much. Answer:
Hello, Chances are we can fix it. We'd recommend sending it in for our repair service. If we can't fix it, there is no charge. Aside from changing the battery, we highly recommend a proper cleaning of the device to ensure that there is no corrosion or build-up that could cause components to short our. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we'll be happy to help you out.

I dropped my iphone 5s into the river about 6 days ago. It was in a brand new defender otterbox which isnt water proof of course but maybe it helped keep some water out, but I had to jump into the water to get it. Due to it being at night it took me around 5 minutes to find it. When i pulled it out it was still on and handed to my friend who was on the dock but when my friend pulled it out of the case to clean it it turned off. I tried to turn it it on not knowing this could mess it up. I put it in rice for 96 hours but it still didn't work. Do you think theres a possibility of it being repairable or am I out of luck. Answer:
Hello, Chances are we can fix it. We'd recommend sending it in for our water damage repair service. We carry a very high success rate at repairing water damaged devices. With that being said, there is a very high possibility of it being repaired. If we can't fix it, there is no charge. Please let us know if you have any other question, we'll be happy to help you out.

When my Iphone 5 had water damage done to it, the screen had a variety of green and white lines on it since it was on when the damage happened. I did not think to turn it off immediately, but it did seem to power off after a certain amount of time( I do think it had low battery as it was). I am very interested in sending in my phone whether or not you can help me with this question, but for the sake of (possibly) a little more piece of mind, does this lead you to believe the water damage was on the better or worse side? Answer:
Hello, we'd have to see it to know for certain. We carry a very high success rate at repairing water damaged phone. Since you are getting power to the device, it does sound like it's on the better side. We look forward to helping you out.

I have been told that once there is water damage on most smart phones that even if the device "works" that the unit will start to decline in functionality. Do you offer any kind of guarantee for up to a certain amount of time if you are able to get the device working again? Or is your only guarantee that the device will turn on and have call functionality but not for any certain length of time? Answer:
We offer a 1 year warranty on the screen(if we need to replace it), and a 90 day warranty on everything else. If the water damage is treated properly and your device is determined to be fully functional, it will operate as if it was never water damaged.

I have an iPhone 6 and yesterday, I dropped it in the toilet. I mistakenly turned it on and charged it for 10 minutes then read that I shouldn't do that. I unplugged it, turned it off and put it in rice for 24 hours. I turned it back on and it had a weird line through it and the screen was fuzzy. The home button also didn't work and "Siri" kept saying she wasn't available even though I didn't ask for Siri. Eventually that all stopped and now the fuzziness is gone and my home button works on & off. Sometimes in the middle of it all working fine, it starts to do funny things and I'm nervous that it may get worse. Should I send it in regardless? Is there a way I can get it fixed to be like a phone that was never dropped in water? Thanks in advance. PS- The "Siri" problem happened again in the middle of me writing this message. PPS- I live in Canada PPPS- Will you need access to what is on my phone? Password, etc. Answer:
Hi Stephanie, our water damage treatment provides a thorough cleaning of your phone that should fix these issues. If additional parts are needed the technicians will discuss it in detail with you and provide you a quote for repair. We service customers from all over the world! If your phone is password protected we will need that password to be able to conduct a full test and diagnostic.
