An iPhone 5s Diagnostic Test might be what you need to isolate your device’s issue and take care of it, rather than throwing it out and buying a new one. First of all, it’s a free service -- how do you beat that? Just add it to the cart and send it in to our mail-in center. We’ll run our diagnostics and then send you an accurate quote, clearly explaining to you the problem with your device. Once you have the information you decide what to do next: we can either fix it as explained or ship it back to you without doing anything*. And when we return ship it -- fixed or not -- we’ll send you an email with tracking information for your security and peace of mind.

If at any time you have any questions about what’s going on with your iPhone 5s, let us know by calling us at 888-494-iFix (4349), email us at, or leave it in the space below, and we’ll get to it as soon as we can.

*NOTE: If you decline repairs for diagnostic or water damage treatment or your device is deemed non-repairable, you will be responsible for shipping and handling.

My daughter dropped her phone for the third time, and shattered it. For the third time, I replaced the screen. However, this time the new screen did not work; a light came on, the screen glowed bluish, but there was no picture on the phone. A second screen I bought and put on had the same problem. So it must be the motherboard. I cleaned all the screen connections with rubbing alcohol, and inspected them to see if perhaps some of the connections are broken, but they look alright to me.I'm at a loss. I told my daughter I think it is gone for good this time. Anyway, is there any hope for her phone at all? Or is anything I do now just a waste of time? Answer:
Hi Ellie, did you do the repair yourself? If you send in the phone or bring it to one of our walk-in locations with the screen we can provide you with a free diagnostic of what is going on.

I have a Iphone 5S in which it is stuck in recovery mode and DFU mode it will not allow me to open the device all I can see is the backlight. When I manually download the ispw and try to install it thru itunes the apple icon and load bar will display but will not install. Is this something that you feel you can fix and how much would this service cost or a estimate. Answer:
We'd have to see the device to determine if it is repairable. We'd recommend sending it in for our free diagnostics service. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we'll be happy to help you out.

My battery was super hot when I charged my phone as well as used it. It became so hot that it could not be used close to your face. Could this be a battery issue or could it be another issue? If we send our phone in about how long is the turn around time? Answer:
Hello Michele, This could be an issue with your battery failing. To be certain, we'd recommend sending it in for our diagnostic service. This type of repair would only take 24-48 hours to complete. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we'll be happy to help you out.

Hello:My Iphone 5S suddenly locked on me. It has worked fine with no problems ever since I got it 2 years ago. Today I was not able to unlock it. I did everything It was shown on the web about how to unlock it, and it did not work. Even to reset it in I tunes, but the "Reset" screen which should come up after the Itunes screen, never came up therefore I could not re-set it. However, noticed that as I tried the suggestions of holding the home button and the "off" button, it did as they explained it-- the screen went black. The next step was to continue holding the "home" button until the icons came up... now, I noticed that the icons screen tried to come up, but it was of a "tomato red" color and you could see all the icons in black on the background... it stayed like that for a couple seconds and then the screen went black. I did this several times, trying to get it to bring the icons in their normal way, but to no avail. It may be like some damage with the key pad, but I don't know. Anyhow, I really don't want to lose my all my data.Could you please let me know possible cause?Thank you. Answer:
Hi Maggie, it could be your LCD that is going bad. To get give the most accurate quote on repair we would need to see the device and test it. We recommend sending it in for a diagnostic.

I bought an iPhone 5S 32 gb unlocked about a month ago. Sometimes it has lost its sim signal. It was saying searching in place of signals for sim for about a day. Then I reset the phone from settings by tapping the option erase all data and all setting. After that the phone does not activate. It's saying activation server is temporarily unavailable and connect to iTunes. When I connected it to iTunes, it's saying there is a problem with your iPhone. It's still saying searching even though there is no sim in the tray and during the activation process when I click the i on the lower right side of screen it doesn't show any IMEI number. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Answer:

i have a iphone 5s and yesterday i was at the hospital when my phone slipped out my hands fell on the ground, landed on its back which i had my hard case but came out the phone. I thought the screen broke but it didnt. I didnt check if the touch screen was alright but after a couple of mins later to check my notifications, my touch screen was unresponsive then when i gave it a hard reboot i saw vertical lines. Thats when I realized something inside my phone is misplaced or damaged? Can this be fixed? Answer:
Hi Merdine, The issue seems to be your LCD is broken. This is a common fix, would have to just get a screen replacement. We do this repair starting at $54.99 plus tax (price current as of Dec 2018). Your screen replacement would come with a 1-year warranty that covers everything but accidental damage (from drops or liquid damage).
