How we got here
Every repair company has an origin story. Ours starts with a layoff and a very expensive quote.
A layoff, then a cracked screen
Our CEO and founder, Christopher Johncke, was laid off from his job as an engineer. During a disappointing job hunt, Chris broke his iPhone — his lifeline to the professional world. Like most people, he assumed his only option was the Apple Store. The repair quote was $300. Scraping by on unemployment checks, that sum seemed astronomical.
$30 in parts and an engineering degree
After a day of despair, Chris realized he had an option: a shattered smartphone screen should be no match for someone with his engineering training. He sourced replacement parts online for $30, got to work, and handily repaired the phone himself.
One friend's phone, then everyone's
Chris only did the repair to save money, and his job search continued. Soon after, a friend heard about the successful fix and asked him to work on her phone. The networking spiraled from there, and Chris realized he had found a business that served the community and gave people a real option when faced with a busted device.
Out of the trunk, into a storefront
Several busy months later, Chris decided he had outgrown the trunk of his car and opened a brick-and-mortar repair store in Lake Park.
Multiple locations and a repair depot
The iFixYouri family has expanded to multiple locations and over 80 employees, and we continue to grow. We repair thousands of smart devices on-location in Palm Beach County, Boston, and the greater Orlando area each month. Our warehouse space is a state-of-the-art repair depot for our corporate and website customers.

The whole company exists because a $300 quote on a $30 repair felt wrong. We quote before any work begins, and we tell you when a device is not worth fixing.
Every make and model
Smartphones, tablets and personal computers — every make and model. If it has a screen and a battery, we have almost certainly repaired one.
Mail-in or in person
Ship it to our repair depot from anywhere in the country, or bring it into one of our South Florida stores.
Backed by a warranty
Repairs are warranty-backed and fully tested before they go back to you. Screen repairs carry a one-year warranty.
