Description
A side button on the iPhone 16 that feels mushy, has to be pressed hard, or does nothing at all makes the phone surprisingly hard to use: no locking, no Apple Pay double-click, no Siri, and no forced restart.
About the iPhone 16
The buttons on the iPhone 16 sit in its aluminum frame, with the flex cables running just inside the edge. A knock on the side of the phone can crack the flex without leaving a mark outside. The 16 was the first base iPhone with the Action button, and it added the Camera Control on the right side.

Mail-in or walk-in
Mail-in is simple: order, print the prepaid UPS label we email you (it includes $100 of insurance), and ship the iPhone 16 by itself in a well-padded box. Include your order confirmation so we can match it quickly. You get updates when it arrives, when it is fixed and when it ships back.
In Palm Beach County you can skip shipping and walk into our Jupiter store on Donald Ross Road, Monday to Saturday 10 am to 7 pm, Sundays by appointment.
Warranty
Every part we install carries a 90-day warranty. That covers the part and our work, not fresh drops or liquid.
Common questions
Can I use my iPhone without the side button in the meantime?
Yes. Turn on AssistiveTouch in Settings > Accessibility > Touch to get an on-screen button that can lock the phone and take screenshots.
Is this the same as the Camera Control?
No. This repair covers the side (power) button only.
How do I check that my phone is an iPhone 16?
Open Settings > General > About. The Model Name line should read iPhone 16. If it shows something else, pick that model's repair instead, or call us and we will point you to the right one.
