Common questions

Will Face ID still work after an iPhone 16 Pro front camera repair?

On the iPhone 16 Pro the selfie camera sits in the same TrueDepth assembly as the Face ID sensors, and those sensors are paired to your phone. We keep your original Face ID components, replace only the camera, and confirm Face ID works before the phone goes back.

Will my iPhone show an unknown part message?

If the camera fitted is not a genuine Apple part, iOS can show Unknown Part in Settings > General > About > Parts and Service History. The notice does not stop you using the phone, and we test focus, Portrait mode and video calls before return. Ask us if you would rather have a genuine Apple camera.

How do I check that my phone is an iPhone 16 Pro?

Open Settings > General > About. The Model Name line should read iPhone 16 Pro. If it shows something else, pick that model's repair instead, or call us and we will point you to the right one.
