About the iPhone 17 Pro

The iPhone 17 Pro (2025) uses an 18MP Center Stage front camera at the top of its 6.3-inch ProMotion OLED display. It shares that space with the Face ID sensors, so the work is done carefully and Face ID is retested every time. Apple switched the Pro from titanium to an aluminum unibody with a vapor chamber, and stretched the camera plateau across the full width of the back.

How we fix it on the iPhone 17 Pro

Common questions

Will Face ID still work after an iPhone 17 Pro front camera repair?

On the iPhone 17 Pro the selfie camera sits in the same TrueDepth assembly as the Face ID sensors, and those sensors are paired to your phone. We keep your original Face ID components, replace only the camera, and confirm Face ID works before the phone goes back.

Will my iPhone show an unknown part message?

If the camera fitted is not a genuine Apple part, iOS can show Unknown Part in Settings > General > About > Parts and Service History. The notice does not stop you using the phone, and we test focus, Portrait mode and video calls before return. Ask us if you would rather have a genuine Apple camera.

How do I check that my phone is an iPhone 17 Pro?

Open Settings > General > About. The Model Name line should read iPhone 17 Pro. If it shows something else, pick that model's repair instead, or call us and we will point you to the right one.
