Description
When callers keep asking you to repeat yourself, voice memos sound like they were recorded underwater, or Siri stops hearing you, one of the iPhone 17 Pro's microphones has usually failed or been blocked.
About the iPhone 17 Pro
The iPhone 17 Pro (2025) has a 6.3-inch ProMotion OLED display in an aluminum unibody frame. Like every recent iPhone it is IP68 rated, but that seal weakens with age and every drop. Apple switched the Pro from titanium to an aluminum unibody with a vapor chamber, and stretched the camera plateau across the full width of the back.

What we do
We test each microphone separately to see which is failing, clean the mic ports, and if that does not fix it, replace the faulty microphone flex. Then we test calls, speakerphone, video recording and Siri.
Price
- Microphone Flex: $107.99
Every repair starts with incoming diagnostics. If we find anything else, we contact you before doing more work.
Mail-in or walk-in
Mail-in is simple: order, print the prepaid UPS label we email you (it includes $100 of insurance), and ship the iPhone 17 Pro by itself in a well-padded box. Include your order confirmation so we can match it quickly. You get updates when it arrives, when it is fixed and when it ships back.
In Palm Beach County you can skip shipping and walk into our Jupiter store on Donald Ross Road, Monday to Saturday 10 am to 7 pm, Sundays by appointment.
Warranty
The replacement part is covered by our 90-day warranty against defects. Accidental damage, like a new drop or spill, is not covered.
Common questions
How do I test my iPhone microphones at home?
Record a voice memo (bottom mic), then a selfie video and a rear-camera video. Whichever recording is quiet or muffled tells you which microphone is failing.
Does a case cause this?
It can. A case that covers the mic holes muffles your voice. Try a call without the case before you order.
How do I check that my phone is an iPhone 17 Pro?
Open Settings > General > About. The Model Name line should read iPhone 17 Pro. If it shows something else, pick that model's repair instead, or call us and we will point you to the right one.
