Description
If the rear camera on your iPhone 17 is blurry, black or vibrating, the module itself has failed. If the pictures are fine but there is a crack across the glass over the lens, you only need the lens cover replaced, which is much less.
About the iPhone 17
The iPhone 17 came out in 2025. The camera bump takes the hit when a phone lands face-up, which is why lens covers and camera modules often fail together. The 17 brought ProMotion and the square Center Stage selfie camera to the standard iPhone for the first time.
At a glance
- Released: 2025
- Display: 6.3-inch ProMotion OLED
- Frame: aluminum
- Rear cameras: a 48MP Fusion main camera and a 48MP Ultra Wide
- Front camera: 18MP Center Stage front camera
Signs you need this repair
- Photos will not focus, even up close
- Black screen on one or all lenses
- Cracked or shattered glass over the lenses (lens-only repair)
Camera or lens cover?
The full camera replacement swaps the camera module, and we recheck autofocus, stabilization and every zoom level afterwards. The lens-only repair replaces just the sapphire cover glass on the back, so dust and moisture stay out and your photos lose the flare from the crack.

Common questions
How do I know if it is the lens or the camera on my iPhone 17?
Take a photo of something close up. If it is sharp apart from a streak or flare, the lens cover is the problem. If it is blurry, shaking or black, the camera module needs replacing.
Will my photos look the same afterwards?
Yes. We fit a matching module for your model and check focus, stabilization and every zoom step before it leaves.
How do I check that my phone is an iPhone 17?
Open Settings > General > About. The Model Name line should read iPhone 17. If it shows something else, pick that model's repair instead, or call us and we will point you to the right one.
