Description
A dead volume button on the iPhone 17 is easy to live around for a while, until you need to take a screenshot, force a restart, or turn a video down quickly.
About the iPhone 17
The buttons on the iPhone 17 sit in its aluminum frame, with the flex cables running just inside the edge. Even a small dent in the frame can press on a button and make it feel stuck. The 17 brought ProMotion and the square Center Stage selfie camera to the standard iPhone for the first time.

Common questions
Why does my volume change by itself?
A volume flex that is damaged or has moisture on it can register phantom presses. Replacing the flex fixes it.
How long does it take?
In store it is usually same day. Mail-in repairs are turned around as soon as the part is fitted and tested.
How do I check that my phone is an iPhone 17?
Open Settings > General > About. The Model Name line should read iPhone 17. If it shows something else, pick that model's repair instead, or call us and we will point you to the right one.
