Description

Volume buttons on the iPhone 17e that stick, rattle, or stop responding are usually a damaged button flex rather than the buttons themselves. It often starts after a drop onto the left side of the frame.

About the iPhone 17e

The iPhone 17e is Apple's newest entry-level iPhone. Because it is so new, we source parts as they are released and inspect every part before it goes into your phone. As Apple's 2026 entry model it is still new to the repair market, so parts supply is only now building up.

Signs you need this repair

  • Buttons feel stuck, loose or rattle
  • Screenshot shortcut no longer works
  • Volume changes on its own

What we do

We replace the volume button flex, inspect the buttons and frame for damage, and test volume up, volume down, the screenshot shortcut and a forced restart. The Action button sits on the same side, so we check it too.

Price

  • Volume Button Flex: $103.99

Every repair starts with incoming diagnostics. If we find anything else, we contact you before doing more work.

Mail-in or walk-in

Mail-in is simple: order, print the prepaid UPS label we email you (it includes $100 of insurance), and ship the iPhone 17e by itself in a well-padded box. Include your order confirmation so we can match it quickly. You get updates when it arrives, when it is fixed and when it ships back.

Prefer to hand it over in person? Our Jupiter store on Donald Ross Road takes walk-ins six days a week, 10 to 7, with Sunday appointments 11 to 5.

Warranty

You get a 90-day warranty on the part we fit. If it fails from a defect in that time we fix it free; new accidental damage is not included.

Common questions

Why does my volume change by itself?

A volume flex that is damaged or has moisture on it can register phantom presses. Replacing the flex fixes it.

How long does it take?

In store it is usually same day. Mail-in repairs are turned around as soon as the part is fitted and tested.

How do I check that my phone is an iPhone 17e?

Open Settings > General > About. The Model Name line should read iPhone 17e. If it shows something else, pick that model's repair instead, or call us and we will point you to the right one.

Not sure this is the right repair? Call 888-494-4349 or email support@ifixyouri.com and a technician will talk it through with you.
