Description
If the MacBook Air 13-inch M5 screen has a crack, black ink spreading from an impact, vertical lines, or a backlight with no picture, the display assembly needs replacing. The MacBook Air 13-inch M5 (A3449, 2026) is the newest Air, carrying on the flat-edge fanless design.
About the MacBook Air 13-inch M5 (A3449)
It uses a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina LCD display. The MacBook Air 13-inch M5 is new enough that it may still be under Apple's limited warranty. Check checkcoverage.apple.com first; we are here for accidental damage and anything warranty will not cover.

Why a full assembly matters
Cheap MacBook screen quotes are usually for a bare panel glued into your existing lid, which fails more often and rarely looks right. We fit the complete assembly, so the lid closes flush and the hinge feels like new. Afterwards we test brightness, color, the camera and lid-close sleep.

- Premium Display Assembly: $549.99
Every repair starts with incoming diagnostics. If we find anything else, we contact you before doing more work.

Common questions
Can you replace just the glass on a MacBook Air 13" M5?
No. On the MacBook Air 13" M5, as on every Retina and Apple silicon MacBook, the glass is laminated to the panel, so the complete display assembly is the correct repair.
Will True Tone and the camera still work?
Yes. The camera and ambient light sensor come with the new lid and we test both before it goes back.
How do I confirm I have the MacBook Air 13-inch M5?
Click the Apple menu > About This Mac. It lists the screen size and year, and the chip, which should read Apple M5. The model number printed on the bottom case is A3449.
