The 5s was the first iPhone with Touch ID, and that changes what can and cannot be fixed. The fingerprint sensor lives in the home button and is cryptographically paired to the logic board at the factory.
If the button has failed, we can restore the button function so the phone works normally, but fingerprint unlock cannot be brought back by any shop. Screens, batteries and dock connectors are all straightforward and cheap on this model.
